Preston Shoemaker is a senior Bellisario Fellow from Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania and is majoring in broadcast journalism. Preston is the Broadcast Assistant for the Altoona Curve, Double-A Affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he serves as a play-by-play broadcaster and works with media relations. Krista is an executive producer of a student-run livestream called 46LIVE. Krista values spending time volunteering at her community service organization—Boulevard—and raising funds as communications director for the digital fundraising committee of Student Philanthropy Network. She devoted most of her time, this past spring semester, as a media production intern for C-NET in State College. Krista has previously collaborated with HBOsports producers and camera operators to create the 24/7 College Football: Penn State Nittany Lions episode. She is constantly looking for opportunities to work and gain experience in the media industry. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying up to date on any OTT streaming platform TV series, or relaxing by reading a novel.
