Originally from Meadville, Pennsylvania, Carly will graduate from The Pennsylvania State University in May of 2013 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.  She spent two summers as an intern for JET24/FOX66 NEWS, in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she had the opportunity to cover everything from community events to breaking news.  Her experience as an intern sparked her passion for news reporting and social media. 

In her spare time, Carly enjoys boating on the Allegheny River, listening to country music and spending time with her Goldendoodle, Oscar.  An avid community volunteer, and Miss America Scholarship Organization competitor, Carly devotes countless hours to volunteering for organizations such as The American Diabetes Association, Children’s Miracle Network and The Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon.
