Giving Voice to the Voiceless
A State College woman who's been working with the disabled has launched a start-up called "Project Vive." The goal is to literally give a voice to the voiceless. Waiss Aramesh has the story.

As the Digital Managing Editor of the university’s student-run newspaper The Daily Collegian and an Executive Producer for the Centre County Report, Gabby has developed a passion for news and newsroom management. In March she will be traveling to Panama with the College of Communications as a part of the International Reporting class. Gabby will be graduating in May with a degree in broadcast journalism as well as criminology. She hopes to pursue a career as a producer or assignment desk editor.
Waiss Aramesh

After interning at CBS New York and at CNN, Waiss is usually working at The Daily Collegian as the Social Media Editor or at the Centre County Report. He’s also been the Executive Producer of PSN News and worked on THON’s live webcast, 46 LIVE. Waiss hopes to work in broadcast and digital news after graduation and be part of a constantly evolving news industry.
