I am a senior at Penn State majoring in broadcast journalism. I currently serve as the production director at ComRadio. In addition to that I host a weekly talk show and do play-by-play for a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.

Maria Bryant

Senior / Broadcast Journalism and Spanish

She is a producer and reporter of the Centre County Report and a student in the International Reporting class that will be traveed to Cuba in March. She is also interning WPSU-FM. Maria works for The Daily Collegian as a multimedia and print reporter, and is a former producer for ComRadio News.

Maria has previously interned at the Courier News, A Gannett Company Newspaper, in New Jersey and at the Ryan Seacrest Foundation at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Emily Schwartz

Senior / Broadcast Journalism

Emily Schwartz is currently a senior majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in theatre. She is extremely passionate about the journalism industry, which has allowed her to receive multiple internships to further expand her knowledge. Emily obtained her first television internship with Turner Broadcasting in the research department with truTV, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. Emily also worked with the CNN team in New York City. At Penn State, Emily was an anchor for In The Game and is a member of Centre County Report. Emily has a passion for broadcasting and hopes to one day land a job in television. She is looking to pursue a career in the sports or entertainment industry with networks like ESPN, HBO Sports and E! Network.
