I am a senior at Penn State majoring in broadcast journalism. I currently serve as the production director at ComRadio. In addition to that I host a weekly talk show and do play-by-play for a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball, and hockey.

Emily Schwartz is currently a senior majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in theatre. She is extremely passionate about the journalism industry, which has allowed her to receive multiple internships to further expand her knowledge. Emily obtained her first television internship with Turner Broadcasting in the research department with truTV, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. Emily also worked with the CNN team in New York City. At Penn State, Emily was an anchor for In The Game and is a member of Centre County Report. Emily has a passion for broadcasting and hopes to one day land a job in television. She is looking to pursue a career in the sports or entertainment industry with networks like ESPN, HBO Sports and E! Network.

Kiyana Banks is a senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism at The Pennsylvania State University. Her goal/passion is to become a Director of Production for a major entertainment television network. She has interned with Viacom-Nickelodeon, ESPN Radio, Penn State Network-TV and her school’s local radio station. She’s passionate about all things production and her goal is to work for a well respected television network upon commencement.

Kiyana has been known for her reliability, initiative, teamwork and work ethic skills. Her goal is to graduate college confident with the knowledge and wisdom she has gained from her internship experiences and use those skills at a major television company.

Kacie graduated from Penn State in 2014 with a major in broadcast journalism and double minor in sports journalism and business.

During her time at Penn State, she was an anchor, director and technical director for Emmy-award winning best student newscast, Centre County Report. She was a member of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism, Blue & White Society, Association for Women in Sports Media, ComRadio, and THON Webcast.

She has also worked with the SONY, Big Ten Network, Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, and CBS affiliate KDKA-TV News both in front and behind the camera. In high school, she was the president of her television station. She was morning news anchor and won several awards at the Annual Student Video Festival and Competition at Robert Morris University.

All of her experiences have only furthered her desire to be in the broadcasting industry. Her enthusiasm for journalism inspires those around her to learn more about what she reports. She is a firm believer that if you work hard enough, things will pay off hoping one day her dreams will become a reality.
