Bardown Bros
The Bardown Bros will be a talk show discussing all things hockey. From the NHL, to college hockey, to upcoming draft classes and prospects, The Bardown Bros will fill you in on what to know from throughout the world of hockey. We will discuss news from around hockey, preview upcoming games, answer listener questions from our social media pages, include fantasy hockey picks of the week, and potentially bring in hockey players from various levels for interviews and story times.

Owen Gelber is a first-year student at Penn State. He has spent his time in State College learning the ins and outs of sports media and production. Owen has began to write weekly articles for Commradio, as well as join his fellow colleagues in recording and producing sports podcasts. Owen anticipates joining the hockey talk show, “The Sin Bin,” and continuing his journey as a sports writer, broadcaster, and producer during his time at Penn State. Hayden Lewis
Freshman /
Hayden Lewis is a Freshman from Penn State. He has spent his first year in CommRadio as a contributor to the sports department writing articles focused on the NHL and PLL. He is also doing Play-by-Play for women’s hockey as well. As a new member he is a shadow on the talk show Sin Bin and contributes his hockey knowledge to the show. Prior to coming to Penn State he attended Culver Academies in Culver Indiana where he played hockey and lacrosse. Chris Machado

Chris Machado is a junior at Penn State. He is studying broadcast journalism with a minor in sports studies. He is a new member of CommRadio and works in the sports department and production. He writes articles, records podcasts, and makes production elements for the station. Matthew Cabram
Third / Broadcast Journalist
Matt Cabram is a third-year student from Long Island, New York majoring in broadcast journalism. Matt is apart of CommRadio where he specializes in the sports department. Matt can be heard on “Happy Valley Rally”, a weekly sports radio show he co-hosts for CommRadio. Matt also contributes to writing sports articles for CommRadio along with being involved in Penn State Sports Night.
