Sydney C. Sterling is a sophomore from Ashburn, Virginia. She is majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in sports studies. For CommRadio, Sydney serves as an analyst for the all-female sports talk show, The Gridiron Girls. Sydney has been heavily involved with sports her whole life and hopes to become a sports broadcaster one day. Her favorite sport is football and she is a die hard Steelers fan. Ariel Simpson is a senior from Columbus, Ohio, now relocated to Bristol, Pa. She is majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in sociology and is working towards her certificate for the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism. For CommRadio, Ariel serves as an analyst and on-air personality host. She is the co-founder of the very first—and only—all-female NFL podcast on CommRadio, Gridiron Girls, now developed into an all-sports live talk show. Outside of CommRadio, Ariel is the sports editor for the student-run multimedia outlet The Underground. She is also a news anchor/reporter for Centre County Report.  Ariel was also a previous intern at the local radio station B94.5 and is currently working as a part-time producer for State College’s ESPN Radio 1450. Kelly Warner is a senior, Broadcast Journalism major from Charlotte, NC. She is the President of the Penn State chapter of the Association for Women in Sports Media and a producer for both Penn State Sports Night and the high school football show “After The Whistle”. In the fall of 2021, Kelly was a sports anchor/producer for Centre County Report and served as an executive producer for the show in the spring. She formerly interned with the Charlottesville Tom Sox, a summer baseball team in Virginia, as a multimedia intern and also partook in the international reporting trip to Scotland.
