Jonathan “Jon” Draeger is a third-year student from Butler, Pennsylvania, majoring in broadcast journalism at Penn State University. He is the Production Director for CommRadio, alongside his work as a broadcaster and producer for the Sports department and insider for Penn State Men’s Basketball. Jon also works on the “After The Whistle” live show. He was apart of the social media and on-field entertainment crew for the Butler Bluesox in the summer of 2021 and worked as a Broadcast Intern for the Saugerties Stallions of the PGCBL in the summer of 2022. Emma Holtz is a third-year from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania majoring in public relations at Penn State University. A member of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism, she is a Football Insider, sportscaster, and color commentator for CommRadio’s sports department and B1G+. She writes, produces and appears on podcasts related to Big Ten, NFL, NHL and NBA coverage. Josh Bartosik is a Second Year student from Raleigh, North Carolina majoring in broadcast journalism. He is in his second year at CommRadio. Josh has been featured on several articles and podcasts for CommRadio ranging across all sports and topics. Josh had the incredible opportunity to broadcast the Women’s Frozen Four Semifinal matchups at University Park last winter and the EIVA Men’s Tournament Semifinal last spring along with several other broadcasts. Josh has also been named as a co-host for the Sin Bin and Phone Booth, two talk shows featured at CommRadio. Josh’s dream career is to be a play by play broadcaster or journalist for the NHL, NFL, or College Football.

CheRanda Hammond is a third-year majoring in Broadcast Journalism with minors in sports studies and marketing. She is a first-year member of CommRadio and After The Whistle and a second-year member in Penn State Sports Night. I am involved in Penn State’s THON with the organization FOTO. She is also a member of Minorities in Sports: Next and Association for Women in Sports Media national and Penn State Chapter.

Hayden Lewis is a Freshman from Penn State. He has spent his first year in CommRadio as a contributor to the sports department writing articles focused on the NHL and PLL. He is also doing Play-by-Play for women’s hockey as well. As a new member he is a shadow on the talk show Sin Bin and contributes his hockey knowledge to the show. Prior to coming to Penn State he attended Culver Academies in Culver Indiana where he played hockey and lacrosse.
