Major upsets, crushing defeats, bowl games secured while one team tries to remain undefeated through it all. That’s right it’s the Big 12 in Week 10 of the college football season.

No. 7 TCU 34, Texas Tech 24

The No. 1 ranked offense in the Big 12 did not score a single touchdown until the fourth quarter where Max Duggan kicked it into high gear and scored three straight touchdown to go onto winning the game after being down 13-17, as TCU completes their fourth comeback against conference teams.

Kendre Miller ran for 151 yards and one touchdown on the day, averaging 7.5 yards per rush for TCU. Derius Davis played a huge role in the first half for TCU after returning a punt for a touchdown, keeping the score close.

TCUl remained undefeated on the season as the Horned Frogs hit the road to go against No. 24 Texas next week.Texas Tech falls to 4-5 on the season as its chances at getting a bowl game begin to close.

No. 24 Texas 34, No. 13 Kansas State 27

The Texas Longhorns pulled off the upset against Kansas State and improved to 6-3 on the season, securing a spot in a bowl game. Texas came out swinging, scoring on all but one of its six drives in the first half.

Kansas State could not get out of its own way, making crucial mistakes throughout the first half. The Wildcats cleaned it up in the second half but there was not enough time for them to make a comeback after trailing 10-31 at half.

The Longhorns have a tough task next week against No. 7 TCU, however TCU has trailed four of their six games against conference teams so if Texas can get off to another hot start the Longhorns may get the upset. Kansas State will have another difficult matchup against Baylor next week, luckily for them, they have already secured a spot in a bowl game.

Kansas 37, No. 18 Oklahoma State 16

Oklahoma State fell to Kansas on the road, as its season continues to collapse after being one of the top 10 teams in all of college football early in the season. Kansas forced four turnovers from Oklahoma State while playing its cleanest game of the season.

Devin Neal ran for 224 yards and one touchdown while Jason Bean threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns. Kansas looked great and took care of business at home.

Kansas secures a bowl game spot and keeps itschance at a spot in the Big 12 Championship game alive. The Jayhawks will travel to Texas Tech and Oklahoma State will host Iowa State next week.

Baylor 38, Oklahoma 35

This game was a battle of the backfields and Baylor dominated at the line which gave their backs a lane to run all over this Oklahoma defense. Baylor’s running back core ran for 281 yards and five touchdowns on the day, 192 and two touchdowns coming from Craig Williams.

With Baylor keeping a 10 point lead throughout the majority of this game, Oklahoma had to rely on Dillon Gabriel more than they wanted to. Gabriel threw for 261 yards and had total touchdowns but also turned the ball over three times.

Baylor becomes bowl game eligible and will host Kansas State next. Oklahoma falls short of that much desired six win as they will visit West Virginia next week.

Iowa State 31, West Virginia 14

Iowa State and Hunter Dekkers crushed West Virginia at home after an insane 21 points were scored in the fourth quarter. West Virginia got beat in the trenches, giving up 172 yards rushing while only producing 76 of its own.

Iowa State travels to Oklahoma State and needs to win two out of its last three games if the Cyclones want to become bowl eligible. West Virginia lookS to snap their three game losing streak next week against Oklahoma.
