Week 10 provides two of the biggest college football matchups of the year. No. 1 Tennessee will face off against No. 3 Georgia in Athens. While No. 6 Alabama will travel to Death Valley to play No. 10 LSU.

These two games will decide who will play in Atlanta come December. Georgia and Tennessee are the two top teams in the SEC East. While LSU and Alabama are the two top teams in the SEC West.

Week 10 is shaping up to be the biggest week yet, it will change the trajectory of the college football season. November is the time contenders separate themselves from pretenders. It is a great slate of college football.

No. 1 Tennessee at No.3 Georgia (Georgia -8) Pick: Tennessee +8

This battle between two titans will be played between the hedges, but there is no reason Georgia should be favored by more than a touchdown against the No.1 team in college football.

The volunteers are undefeated, but the most impressive part of their season is how they have destroyed their opponents. Tennessee beat previously ranked No. 19 Kentucky and then No. 25 LSU handily.

Hendon Hooker is leading this dynamic offense and is the frontrunner for the Heisman. This Tennessee team is drawing a lot of comparisons to the 2019 LSU team.

Georgia, the defending champs, looked impressive against Oregon, but that was the first week of the season. This game has the makeup to be an instant classic. I’ll take the Vols to cover, but the Bulldogs to win.

No. 6 Alabama at No.10 LSU (Alabama -13.5) Pick: LSU +13.5

Alabama has destroyed LSU in Death Valley in the past. The Tigers haven’t beat the Tide at home since 2011.  However, LSU at night is one of the toughest environments in college football, and expect Brian Kelly to have his team ready.

Brian Kelly in Louisiana is an odd fit, but there is no doubt Kelly is a great coach. Outside of week one against Florida State, Kelly has the Tigers playing vintage LSU football.

Jayden Daniels is playing the best football of his career, and as time has gone on this team that is filled with transfers is finally gelling.

Over the past decade, LSU and Alabama have been a great rivalry and have given us some instant classics. I can’t go against the Tigers at night in Death Valley. Alabama will win the game, but expect this game to have a ton of points and to come down to the wire.

No. 4 Clemson at Notre Dame (Clemson -3.5) Pick: Notre Dame +3.5

Is this the week of the underdogs? Clemson at No. 4 is outrageous. The Tigers against a weak ACC, have barely been able to escape multiple games this year.

Notre Dame started the season very slow with losses against Ohio State, Marshall and Stanford. However, I believe in head coach Marcus Freeman. I expected a bigger spread, that tells me the Fightin Irish is the play.

This Clemson team has been up and down all season long. This is not one of Dabo Swinney’s best teams and I expect Notre Dame to cover and maybe win the game outright.

Bonus Picks

Florida at Texas A&M (Texas A&M -3)
The Pick: Florida +3
Michigan State at Illinois (Illinois -17)
The Pick: Illinois -17
Michigan at Rutgers (Michigan -26)
The Pick: Michigan -26
