For the second time in less than a week, Penn State has added much-needed depth to its wide receiving core.

Former Florida State wide receiver Malik McClain has committed to the Nittany Lions just three days after they landed Kent State transfer Dante Cephas.

After entering the portal three days prior, McClain took an official visit to Happy Valley on Jan. 14.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound McClain caught 17 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns for Florida State this past season.

In two years with the Seminoles, he finished with 33 receptions for 396 yards and five touchdowns.

McClain played high school football at IMG Academy with current Nittany Lion running back Kaytron Allen.
