Dr. Cathy Bowen, a professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Sociology and Education, will give a presentation next Wednesday titled, “10 Things College Students Should Know About Money.”
Bowen hopes that her presentation will help students learn about the important aspects of managing their money in order to better themselves and their families.
“Learning about money and managing money is a life-long adventure,” said Bowen. “It’s not something you can stop doing. You can learn some basics that tend to stay in place over your lifetime, but because our laws change and society changes and everybody needs to try to learn something about money each year. You don’t just do it once.”
The presentation is next Wednesday, April 10th in Foster Auditorium from 3 to 4 p.m.
