NFL Game of the Week: Bills vs. Ravens

Story posted September 29, 2022 in CommRadio, Sports by Max Savitt

This week the 2-1 Buffalo Bills will travel to Baltimore to take on the 2-1 Ravens. This game will showcase two of the best young quarterbacks in the league in Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen.

The Bills are coming off a rough loss in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins. The Bills have been one of the most feared teams in the league for the last few seasons. They have a dominant offense and a solid defense. The Bills are trying to make a legitimate push to win a superbowl this year and a loss in Week 3 might light a fire under them to make a statement.

The Ravens have been solid thus far this season. If the season ended tomorrow, Jackson would be a clear cut winner for the MVP award. Jackson has been a dual threat quarterback thus far this year. In the air, Jackson has thrown for 749 yards and 10 touchdowns over three games. On the ground, Jackson has 243 rushing yards along with two touchdowns. That is what I call videogame numbers.

With these two quarterbacks controlling the game, cwe will have an offensive dogfight on Sunday. Both teams have what it takes to win this football game. However, the Bills have the upper hand to come away with the win for Week 4.

These teams haven’t faced off against each other for two years. This is a time where Jackson and Allen will look to prove a point, turning the game into an all out shootout.

The Bills have to stop Jackson’s ground game. Although Jackson has been incredible in the air this year, we know it’s his second choice. The Bills should make him prove it in the air and If they can limit Jackson’s rushing attempts, they will put their defense in a better position to win the game.

For the Ravens, they have to double team Stefon Diggs. Diggs and Allen have arguably the best chemistry in the league and they can ruin a defense on any given Sunday.

Ultimately, we have an amazing game on our hands. Look for good offense in this game and look for the Bills to make a statement. The Bills are the best football team in the NFL, and after a tough loss against a division rival, Josh Allen taking another loss is a longshot. Although he faces off against the hottest player in the league, the Bills should come and prove their dominance on Sunday.
