NFL Top 10: Week 6

Story posted October 12, 2022 in CommRadio, Sports by Brady McCormick

1. Buffalo Bills (4-1)

The Bills have continued their dominant start on the back of a 38-3 thrashing against the Steelers.
Both sides of the ball have played their part in the Bills success, as they remain one of the biggest Super Bowl contenders.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (5-0)

The Eagles remain the last undefeated team in the league following a scrappy win against the Arizona Cardinals.
They continue to produce on both sides of the ball as they prepare themselves for an NFC East showdown with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

3. Kansas City Chiefs (4-1)

Through the first five weeks, the Chiefs have looked solid. Their offense carried them to a comeback victory against the Raiders this Monday night.

The one concern surrounding their team is the defense, as they have been susceptible at times. Regardless, Kansas City remains one of the elite teams in the league.

4. Baltimore Ravens (3-2)

Although the Ravens record may not be top-10 worthy, they are a top team behind star Quarterback Lamar Jackson. This team is coming off a big divisional win against the Bengals.

This team should only improve as the year goes on and win their division easily.

5. San Francisco 49ers (3-2)

After a rough 1-2 start to the season, the 49ers have turned it up a notch with back-to-back victories. Their defense has been impressive, not allowing a team to score more than 20 yet this season.

Their offense has put up back-to-back good performances as they continue to head in the right direction.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-2)

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have underperformed relative to their expectations so far. In saying that, they sit at 3-2 with two favorable matchups coming up.

Expect the Buccaneers to improve their record and take their division by storm.

7. Dallas Cowboys (4-1)

Although the Cowboys have had a favorable schedule, they continue to get wins behind backup quarterback Cooper Rush. Their defense has been dominant, and Cooper Rush has been performing well for his expectations.

The Cowboys have one of the more favorable schedules in the NFL. They should be getting starter Dak Prescott back soon and be at full strength.

8. Minnesota Vikings (4-1)

Ever since an underwhelming performance against the Eagles in week two, Minnesota has strung together three solid victories.

The Vikings sit at the top of NFC North, as a two-man race in the division seems to be on the cards between the Vikings and Packers.

9. Los Angeles Chargers (3-2)

The Chargers have been a team with high expectations coming into the year. They seem to finally have found their groove as they inch closer to being healthy. Running back Austin Ekeler has notched two big games in a row after a slow start.

Along with that, wide receiver Keenan Allen is set to return very soon as the Chargers continue their good play.

10. New York Giants (4-1)

The New York Giants have been one of the biggest shocks in the NFL this year. They’re coming off a huge victory in London against the Packers on Sunday. Saquon Barkley has been the X-factor for this team as he continues his explosive bounce-back season.

The Giants will look to continue their start as they battle in a competitive NFC East division.
