Week 3 of the NFL season is here, and I’m here to help you win some money. I’ll share my best bets of the week, and give you a breakdown as to why I know they’re gonna hit.

Thursday, Sept. 22 - Steelers @ Browns (-4.5, 38.5)

Week 3 kicks off in Cleveland, as the 1-1 Browns take on the 1-1 Steelers. Pittsburgh getting 4.5 points on the road is a best bet of the week. Pittsburgh has the ability to win this game outright, and to do so handedly.

Browns quarterback Jacoby Brissett has played the fill-in role for Deshaun Watson as well as he can, but he faces a legit top 10 defense this week, as well as a team he has never beaten as a starter. While Pittsburgh has had offensive struggles of its own, I expect the Steelers to cover +4.5, and for the game to go under 38.5 points.

Sunday, Sept. 25 - Bills @ Dolphins (+6.5, 52.5)

Our Sunday slate begins with an AFC East showdown between the undefeated Bills and Dolphins. Buffalo is 6.5 point favorite on the road this week, and I believe they cover this spread effortlessly. Dating back to last season, each of the Bills last 14 wins have come by 10 or more points.

Buffalo also outscored Miami 61-11 in two meetings last year, both of which the Bills won with ease. Even with the emergence of Tua Tagovailoa and Miami’s explosive passing game, Buffalo’s top five offense and defense will be too much to handle, Bills -6.5 & over 52.5.

Sunday, Sept. 25 - Packers @ Buccaneers (-1.5, 41.5)

America’s Game of the Week will be the most viewed 4:00 p.m. game on Sunday, and for good reason. Two of the greatest players of all time, Tom Brady versus Aaron Rodgers, a matchup NFL fans have been salivating over for decades. Both quarterbacks are seriously lacking weapons in the receiving game, but have been backed by stud defenses.
Since this game is in Tampa Bay, and the Bucs’ possess the stronger defense, I’m going to say the Buccaneers cover the -1.5 and the game goes under the total of 41.5 by a decent margin.

Sunday, Sept. 25 - 49ers @ Broncos (+1.5, 44.5)

Nathaniel Hackett’s Broncos have been the most disappointing team of the 2022 season so far. After trading for and extending future Hall of Famer Russell Wilson, Denver had super aspirations heading into the regular season. After going 0-6 in the red zone through their first two games, I expect Wilson and the Broncos to clean it up and right the ship this week.

With the 49ers losing Trey Lance for the year, and having to start Jimmy Garoppolo, they are a better team than they were a week ago, but I believe Denver has an excellent bounce-back game at home. Anticipate the Broncos covering +1.5 (and winning outright ML +106), in a low-scoring game that goes under 44.5.

Monday, Sept. 26 - Cowboys @ Giants

An absolute slopfest on Monday night with the Cowboys traveling to Metlife Stadium to take on the 2-0 Giants. Cooper Rush against Daniel Jones is not the premier matchup you’d like to see on Monday Night Football, but it is the one we received.

New York is a 1.5 point favorite in this game and it would be foolish to think they don’t cover easily. A banged up Dallas team won’t score too many points against a top 10 Giants defense. I expect a low scoring affair in which the Giants win by more than a field goal, so the play on Monday night is Giants -1.5 & under 39.5.
