After a dominant 30-0 victory over Maryland on Saturday, two Penn Staters received conference recognition for their performances.

Nicholas Singleton won Freshman of the Week, while Jake Pinegar took home Special Teams Player of the Week.

Singleton had his third-career 100-yard performance as he rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns.

He scored on a 45-yard run in the first quarter and a 27-yard run in the second quarter, giving him 10 career touchdown rushes, breaking a tie with Kaytron Allen and Noah Cain for the Penn State freshman record.

This is his third Freshman of the Week honor of his career, with the last coming in Week 3 against Auburn.

As for Pinegar, he made all three of his field goal attempts converting from 50, 46 and 21 yards away.

His 50-yard field goal in the second quarter tied his career-long, and he has now hit 50-yard field goals in back-to-back games.

This is the first time in his career that he has won Special Teams Player of the Week.
