Just one week after firing wide receivers coach Taylor Stubblefield, Penn State has found its replacement. Former Virginia wide receivers coach Marques Hagans is headed to Happy Valley as the new wide receivers coach.

Hagans was the receivers coach for 11 years at Virginia, and he coached 15 out of the top 20 receivers on the Cavaliers' career catches list.

The most notable receiver he coached is Olamide Zaccheaus, who had 250 catches from 2015-2018 during his collegiate tenure. Zaccheaus currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons.

Before coaching, Hagans played quarterback at Virginia while transitioning to wide receiver in the NFL. He played from 2006-2010 on four different teams.
