Penn State’s offense was well represented on the All-Big Ten teams that were announced on Wednesday morning.

Offensive tackle Olu Fashanu, who recently decided to return to Penn State on Monday, was selected to the second team by the coaches.

Fashanu was also selected to the third team by the media alongside running back Nick Singleton, who was selected to the third team by both the coaches and media.

Singleton was also named the Big Ten’s freshman of the Year following his 941-yard and 10-touchdown campaign. Fashanu was one of the nation’s best offensive linemen before an injury cost him the final four games of the year.

Joining Singleton on the third team, selected by the coaches, were center Juice Scruggs and tight end Brenton Strange. They both were also named honorable mentions by the media.

Scruggs turned himself into an elite center in his first year as a center, and Strange racked up 362 receiving yards and led the Nittany Lions with five receiving touchdowns.

Quarterback Sean Clifford, wide receiver Parker Washington and offensive linemen Sal Wormley and Hunter Nourzad were selected as honorable mentions by both the coaches and media.

Running back Kaytron Allen and offensive lineman Bryce Effner were named honorable mentions by the media.
