Penn State in the NFL: Week 5

The NFL has passed a quarter of a way through its season and here is how the former Penn State players are doing so far.

Rams (26) at Seahawks (17)

Nick Scott sealed the win for the Rams by picking off Geno Smith and had five tackles on the day, while John Reid was inactive for Seattle.

Packers (25) at Bengals (22)

Adrian Amos picked off Joe Burrow and led the Packers with eight tackles in their win.

Lions (17) at Vikings (19)

Amani Oruwariye had nine tackles on the day while Jason Cabinda played fullback. Dan Chisena is still on injured reserve for Minnesota.

Broncos (19) at Steelers (27)

KJ Hamler is on injured reserve for Denver. Pat Freiermuth had two receptions for seven yards and Marcus Allen played backup linebacker.

Dolphins (17) at Buccaneers (45)

Mike Gesicki had 43 yards on four receptions for the Dolphins. Donovan Smith protected Tom Brady’s blindside and Chris Godwin had seven catches for 70 yards.

Saints (33) at Football Team (22)

Troy Apke played backup cornerback and Shaka Toney was inactive for Washington.

Chris Hogan and Juwan Johnson each had just one target, while Blake Gillikin had a 60-yard punt and landed three inside the 20.

Eagles (21) at Panthers (18)

Miles Sanders ran for 45 yards in the comeback. DaQuan Jones had two tackles for the Panthers and Yetur Gross-Matos served as a backup defensive end.

Titans (37) at Jaguars (19)

Sam Ficken remains on injured reserve.

Bears (20) at Raiders (9)

Allen Robinson had four catches for 32 yards and Jesse James was inactive. Carl Nassib and Nick Bowers both served as backups for the Raiders.

Giants (20) at Cowboys (44)

Saquan Barkley had nine yards before getting injured and Austin Johnson had four tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss. Cam Brown remained on injured reserve.

Micah Parsons led the Cowboys with eight tackles and three quarterback hits while Connor McGovern was a part of the offensive line unit that allowed just two sacks.

49ers (10) at Cardinals (17)

Robbie Gould and Kevin Givens are on injured reserve for the 49ers. Michael Menet was signed to the Cardinals practice squad and Jack Crawford is on injured reserve.

Ross Travis was elevated from the practice squad for the game and served as a backup tight end.

Bills (38) at Chiefs (20)

Ryan Bates served as a backup offensive lineman for the Bills in the win. 

Colts (25) at Ravens (31)

Will Fries served as a backup offensive lineman and Robert Windsor is still on injured reserve. Odafe Oweh had three tackles, a sack and two quarterback hits in the Ravens comeback win.

Trace McSorley remains on the Ravens practice squad.

 

Penn State Football Alumni Transactions:

The 49ers placed Robbie Gould on Injured Reserve.

The Cardinals added Michael Menet to their practice squad.
