Former Penn State running back Keyvone Lee announced on Tuesday he will be taking his talents to Mississippi State.

Lee spent three seasons in the blue and white after committing as a four-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot, 225-pound Florida native appeared in 27 games as part of Ja’Juan Seider’s running back room, racking up 1062 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 222 attempts.

Lee also caught 30 passes for 219 yards and one touchdown. That one touchdown came off a pass from Sean Clifford on a wheel route as Penn State stormed down the field in West Lafayette, Indiana, to capture a last-minute victory over Purdue in the 2022 season opener.

Lee entered the portal in January with two years of eligibility remaining and will now compete for an opportunity in an eight-player deep running back room in Starkville.
