The Answering Machine
Cailey and I will start an Instagram and Twitter where we ask our listeners, to send us any questions, opinions, or even hot takes regarding the world of sports and we will select one or multiple for each show and discuss our opinions and perspectives on the subject as two ladies in sports broadcasting. To make our show unique and more fun, when we pick the questions/takes that we'll be responding to, we will record someone reading them aloud. At the start of each episode, we'll say something along the lines of "let's check the answering machine" and then play the audio as if someone left a message for us.

Anna Licastro is a first-year student at Penn State. She has spent her first semester as a new member of CommRadio and Penn State Sports Night TV where she writes preview and post-game articles for a variety of sports, does beat writes for Penn State Women’s Soccer, and is an on-air talent for segments about both Penn State and professional sports. In the future, she would love a career in play-by-play or any type of broadcasting or article writing related to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Cailey Thalman is a first-year broadcast journalism major attending Penn State. She has spent the first semester at Penn State as a new member of CommRadio, Penn State Sports Night and the Association of Women in Sports Media. Through these clubs, she has gotten experience as a studio host and analyst, doing play-by-play, writing articles covering various professional and collegiate sports, and editing. In the future, she hopes to do sideline reporting or studio hosting for ESPN or another national news channels.
