Penn State in the NFL: Week 10

Week 10 of the NFL was one for the books. From last minute come-from-behind wins, to season ending injuries, some familiar former Penn State players contributed to their respective teams once again.

One of the bigger stories from Sunday came from New Orleans, where linebacker Sean Lee of the Dallas Cowboys was injured during the first half of the game, after attempting a routine tackle. Lee led the NFL in tackles (90) coming into the game, but will now be sidelined for three to four weeks with a hamstring injury. Kyle Bosworth is likely to take his spot, until Lee can make a full recovery.

The Green Bay Packers lost Jermichael Finley in week 10 to a neck injury, which led to Andrew Quarless getting the start for week 11. Finley injured his spinal cord after he was tackled in the Packers' game against the Browns. Quarless, who missed last season with a torn ACL and MCL, was named the starter for the rest of the season for Green Bay.

Raiders' rookie quarterback Matt McGloin did not see any action in week 10 against the New York Giants, but could potentially start week 11, if Terrelle Pryor's injury does not improve. Pryor took every snap at Metlife Stadium, but said his knee hurt during the game.

NaVorro Bowman of the San Francisco 49ers is up to 76 combined tackles for the season, after racking up seven more in the team's loss to the Carolina Panthers.

In Tennessee, the Titans lost 29-27 against the Jacksonville Jaguars and linebacker Paul Posluszny. With two minutes remaining in the game, the former Penn State linebacker suffered a concussion that sidelined him, but he has not been ruled out for week 11. Posluszny, who leads the Jags in tackles (88), forced a fumble and a fumble recovery in their week 10 win.

Linebacker Tamba Hali and the Kansas City Chiefs had a bye week and will face off against Peyton Manning in Denver in week 11.

Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Jared Odrick and defensive end Cameron Wake lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but not before Odrick tallied four tackles for the day, while Wake had two.
