Penn State Students Prepare for the Stress of Finals

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa-  With the end of the semester quickly approaching, Penn State students now have to face the dreaded finals week.
With finals week less than two weeks away, students are coming to the realization that the fall semester is moving fast and thus they have less time to study for exams.

Starting from this week until the week before winter break, Penn State students now find themselves trying to find more time to take trips to the library or study with friends to help prepare for finals week.

Many residence halls also enforce quiet hours throughout the day starting at the week before finals week to allow students to study in their dorms.

For freshmen, this is the first of many they will have to deal with the stress that finals week brings.

Some freshman including broadcast journalism major Matt Noah, have decided to rely caffeine to help put their best foot forward.

“For me the two big keys are caffeine and focus,” Noah said. “As much caffeine as your body can handle and you have the books open and you know what you’re ready for.”

Finals week starts on Monday Dec. 16 and concludes on Friday Dec. 20. Winter break as well as the end of the fall semester kicks off following the conclusion of finals week.
