Derek Moreno is currently a Junior at The Pennsylvania State University. He is majoring in Broadcast Journalism. Derek aspires to become either a TV or Radio Reporter. News will always be relevant to people whether it is international, national, local, entertainment, or sports. Derek believes reporting the news will be his true calling. At first, Derek dreamed of covering sports and becoming a sports reporter. But after taking a TV Reporting class and getting a preview of what a real life news atmosphere can be, he believes that he has what it takes to succeed in news as well. He is experienced in both News and Sports Reporting through his internships, classes, and campus media experiences. Derek has the determination and resiliency that he thinks will help him succeed in the broadcast field...one story at a time.
