I'm a current junior majoring in broadcast journalism with a minor in African American studies. Majority of my time spent at Penn State is dedicated to being a member of the Women's Track and Field team and upholding the traditions of those that came before me. I'm an active member of many athlete organizations on campus, one including SAAB; the Student Athletic Advisory Board. SAAB is great for giving athletes a voice. It allows athletes to come together and create a better environment for them on a day to day basis. Athletics is what created my passion for broadcast. Ever since the age of seven I've been apart of several post race interviews and pannels that really created the fun in sports. ​ Now, being broadcasted on the Big Ten Network often, college athletics solidified my admiration for broadcast TV.
