A New Chapter
There comes a point in every parent’s life where they have to let go. For some, it is easier to do than others. It tends to work that the mother worry more about her son leaving, and the father worries more about his daughter leaving. My story takes you into exactly what goes through a parents mind, as their last child is ready to leave the house and start a new life.
After attending Temple University for his undergrad, Spencer Bennett decided to apply to a Communications graduate program at the University of Oregon. Upon acceptance, he had to let his parents know of intentions to go travel to the other side of the country to start a new life. While exciting for Spencer, it leaves his parents wondering what is next. His mother is very worried about the whole process while his father understands that this is an important life decision for his son.
