Senior / Broadcast Journalism

Michael was born and raised in North Bergen, New Jersey. He attends the Pennsylvania State University with the hopes of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Communications majoring in Broadcast Journalism.  Michael is a brother at the Pi Sigma chapter of the Zeta Psi Fraternity of North America as well as a member of ComRadio.  He hosts his own sports talk show called The Fifth Quarter.

Michael has interned WOWY 97.1 as a sports producer as well as co-host, specializing in Pennsylvania professional and college sports. Michael has also written for the New York Giants at Giants Insider Magazine for the 2011 offseason.  He handled day to day articles concerning the Giants in all areas including the draft and free agency. He has also covered day to day Penn State sports at Beyond U Sports, a sports blog website that handles college football and basketball, from Fall 2011 to Summer 2012

Michael wants to pursue a career as a sports journalist after graduation.  He would accept all fields of journalism including television, radio and print.  Michael’s preference for work would be radio with writing side articles in all fields.
