Blue Band film inspired trombone player to go to Penn State

Story posted March 10, 2013 in News by Ryan Kudla

Connor Marshall started playing the trombone in the fourth grade and has been playing ever since. He was inspired to go to school at Penn State after watching a documentary entitled "Making the Blue Band."

Marshall originally didn't make the Blue Band as a freshman, but later made it as a sophomore.  Despite being a regular student and having class and homework, Marshall also has to go to band practice a couple hours a day.

After graduation Marshall plans on continuing to play the trombone as well as possibly teaching others how to play.
