Known as the class that doesn’t have tests, BiSci 3 has been a notable Penn State course for years. The Professor, Christopher Uhl, known as “doc”, has been teaching the course for over thirty-five years. As a student enrolled in BiSci, you are expected to attend lecture twice a week, meet in a small lab group led by a student teachers assistant once a week, complete a journal, and attend a hike through Walnut Springs Park located just a walk away from Penn State’s main campus. Doc believes that this course makes an impact on students through questioning, and self-reflection.
