For Maryland student, music is a ‘Go-Go’ thing
Penn State senior Sean "Sunny Beamin" Wood is pretty multi-talented. Not only does he write and record his own music, but he also produces his own beats. Sunny says he wants to expose the world to the genre of music that he grew up listening to in Maryland, which is Go-Go.
Go-Go music is live instrumentation with a blend of funk, rhythm and blues and early hip-hop with a heavy emphasis on live audience call and response.
