On Monday March 28, Penn State University President Dr. Eric Barron held an inclusion dinner between student diversity groups and other university administrators.

Brian A. Davis Davis, president of the Social Justice Coalition, Penn State chapter, said it's important to have this dinner, “because we want the faculty to have an active role in the community. We feel like having faculty in these rooms and hearing our voices it really lets us know that that they are being aware and being proactive to situations that occur on campus.”

The dinner comes after several student groups, including the Social Justice Coalition, did a Peace Walk around campus on March 15. The students held signs reading “We Are Looking for Peace,” “Muslims say NO to violence,” and “We Are Stronger Together.” Several university administrators joined the walk. The Peace Walk was also video recorded and posted on Facebook by Zico Khayat, member of the Penn State chapter of the Muslim fraternity Alpha Lambda Mu.
