Making History

New Jersey Native, John “Jack” Covert, has been playing the bass ever since he was 9 years old. As Covert grew older, he became heavily influenced by his parents’ legacy in the field of law, and his passion for music became nothing more than a hobby. However, Covert has recently rediscovered his love for music and, despite his parents' plan, has chosen to change the course of history and follow his dreams as an aspiring musician.

Covert says this decision is now-or-never. “There’s a drive and a passion for music in me, it’s not going to go away even if I’m locked in a cubicle. Being young is the best time to feed that drive and actually go for it, so that’s what I’m going to do," he says.
