Meals on Wheels has helped provide food for the elderly and handicapped for years. The State College organization has provided many volunteers a wonderful and very meaningful experience. Executive Director of the State College area, Christine Tyler provided the simple, yet important goal of the organization. Volunteer Ellen Jarrett has helped prepare meals for decades and shares her early experiences and the value of being a volunteer.

My name is Hunter Hulbert. I am a senior broadcast journalism major with an interest in digital media, social media, human interest stories and features. I am one of three senior producers for 46 LIVE, the Penn State Dance Marathon’s (THON) webcast, which is seen by over 300,000 people around the world. I am responsible for shooting and editing various videos that capture the spirit of THON throughout the year and I ensure the smooth production of the webcast. I have interned at KABC-TV in Los Angeles, WSTM-TV in Syracuse and WSYR-TV in Syracuse as well.
