Nate Cully brings his violin wherever he goes

Story posted March 10, 2013 in News by Laurel Albertson

Penn State junior Nate Cully has been playing the violin for the majority of his life. He is the youngest of three and his parents wanted at least one of their children to be musically inclined.

Cully did not gravitate to the violin first, he tried other instruments like the piano but that did not stick. As soon as he picked up the violin, he knew this was his instrument.

He says he doesn't play as much as he used to, but still performs at weddings and funerals. He tries to bring his violin with him wherever he goes, even college.
