NFL Betting: Week 2

Story posted September 18, 2021 in CommRadio, Sports by Max Savitt

The NFL hit Week 1 sprinting. The games in Week 1 showcased some unexpected outcomes in several.

This gave NFL fans some more insight into what teams meant business and what teams are frauds. Without further ado, let’s highlight five matchups for games in Week 2 and give some picks. The target goal is to go 5-0 and win some big money.

Bills vs. Dolphins

The odds for this game currently sit at Bills -3 and the Dolphins +3.

The Bills are the front-runners to win the AFC East. We saw last year how dangerous the tandem of Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs is. This means that the Bills still have that power potential despite their loss in Week 1.

Expect them to bounce back big in Week 2 and show the people why they are still the favorites of the AFC East.

For the Dolphins, in Week 1, Tagovailoa proved untrustworthy. He led the Dolphins to victory in Foxborough, but they were not the team who deserved a W. Therefore, the Dolphins might be frauds. The Bills should step into Miami and cover the spread.

The Pick: Bills -3

Vikings vs. Cardinals

The game currently has the Cardinals -4 and the Vikings +4.

The Cardinals put on a show in Week 1. They blew out the Titans in what looked to be a statement game for second year quarterback Kyler Murray. Murray will look to keep the momentum going into Week 2 as they face the 0-1 Vikings.

The Vikings lost a close game to the Bengals, and it doesn't seem like it’s their year.

The Pick: Cardinals -4

Titans vs. Seahawks

The line of the game is currently Seahawks -6.5, Titans +6.5.

The Titans got demolished in their Week 1 game. But, with this being said, they will bounce back and make a statement in Week 2. The Titans will not let themselves be a laughing stock of the league with another blowout loss.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are a scary good team, but winning by a whole touchdown, let alone even winning the game, is a stretch.

The Pick: Titans +6.5

Cowboys vs. Chargers

The current line of the game is Chargers -3.5, and the Cowboys +3.5.

This game is the big play of the week. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense looked masterful in Week 1. A loss to the reigning Super Bowl champions can be brushed off.

Dallas will win this game straight up. No points needed, take the Cowboys to win the game.

The Pick: Cowboys ML

Chiefs vs. Ravens

Two AFC powerhouses square off on Sunday Night Football. It’s Patrick Mahomes against Lamar Jackson, two MVPs going head-to-head - it doesn’t get much more primetime than that.

The line of the game currently is Chiefs -3.5, and the Ravens +3.5. If the Chiefs can get up early, which is very possible, and make Jackson and the Ravens throw the ball more, then the Chiefs can walk away with a demanding Week 2 win.

The Pick: Chiefs -3.5
