With Week 7 getting ready to kick off we need to take a look at five specific games and see which teams stand out in their matchups.

Panthers vs Giants

The Panthers are headed to New York to take on the Giants in Week 7. The Giants are coming off a major blowout loss given to them by the Los Angeles Rams. This week however, the Giants have a much easier matchup against the Panthers. The Panthers are also coming off a brutal loss given to them by the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants and Panthers are two very similar teams. They both are not real contenders, but in a few years may have enough talent to be real contenders. The current line of the game has the Panthers -3. The Panthers seem like the play in this matchup, but it could be a close game. Therefore, it would be smarter to take the Panthers moneyline because it is a very winnable game for the Panthers.

The pick: Panthers moneyline

Chiefs vs Titans

The Chiefs will be facing off against the Titans in Week 7 in what looks to be one of the better games this week. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have not played to their standard so far this season. The thought of beating Mahomes and the Chiefs has seemed much easier this season in comparison to previous seasons. On the other hand, the Titans have looked great. The Titans just beat the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. Derrick Henry has been an absolute problem for opposing teams. The Chiefs defense has always been a point of concern for that roster and Henry could take over this game. For that reason, taking the Titans seems like the play. The current line of the game has the Chiefs -4.5. The Titans can outright win this game, but the spread is the safer pick.

The pick: Titans +4.5

Jets vs Patriots

The Jets are coming to New England to play the Patriots in Week 7. This will be the second time these two teams face off against one another. The last time they played, rookie quarterback Zach Wilson had his worst game ever. He was an interception machine. The current line of the game has the Patriots -6.5. Mac Jones has been impressive so far this season and if he is the future of the Patriots, then this should be a walk in the park for Mac Jones and the Patriots.

The pick: Patriots -6.5

Bears vs Buccaneers

The Bears will be playing the Buccaneers in Week 7. The current line of the game has the Bears +12.5. This is an insanely generous line for the Buccaneers. The Bears have a great defense which can keep them in the game long enough to cover the spread. The key factor however for the Bears is Justin Fields. Can Fields play well under heavy pressure from the scary Buccaneers defense? If Fields can be consistent and not turn the ball over ridiculous amounts, then the Bears should be in the game. That’s why the Bears with 12.5 points seems like a good pick.

The pick: Bears +12.5

Texans vs Cardinals

The worst matchup of Week 7 has the Texans playing the Cardinals. The current line of the game has the Cardinals -18. To keep it short and sweet, the Texans are the worst team in the NFL, and the Cardinals are the best team as of right now. Therefore, despite the large number, the Cardinals covering the spread seems like the play.

The pick: Cardinals -18
