Penn State in the NFL: Week 9

The NFL playoff picture is starting to take shape and here is how the former Nittany Lions are helping their teams.

Jets (30) at Colts (45)
Robert Windsor is still on injured reserve while Will Fries was inactive for Indianapolis’ dominant win over the Jets.

Broncos (30) at Cowboys (16)
KJ Hamler is still on injured reserve for Denver and Connor McGovern started at guard for the Cowboys. 

Micah Parsons had a monster game for Dallas with ten tackles, two and a half sacks, three tackles for loss and three quarterback hits as he makes a push for Rookie of the Year. 

Texans (9) at Dolphins (17)
Mike Gesicki had four catches for 54 yards in the Dolphins win over the Texans.

Falcons (27) at Saints (25)
Blake Gillikin punted three times for 122 yards including one inside the 20-yard line as the Saints were upset by the Falcons. Juwan Johnson was inactive for the Saints.

Raiders (16) at Giants (23)
Nick Bowers remained on injured reserve and Carl Nassib made three tackles for the Raiders. 

Saquan Barkley sat this weekend again after testing positive for COVID-19. Cam Brown had a tackle in his return while Austin Johnson had four in the Giants statement win.

Patriots (24) at Panthers (6)
Yetur Gross-Matos had two tackles on the edge while DaQuan Jones served as a backup for the stumbling Panthers.

Bills (6) at Jaguars (9)
Ryan Bates served as a backup for the Bills in their loss.

Vikings (31) at Ravens (34)
Dan Chisena served as a special teams ace for the Vikings. 

Trace McSorley is still on the practice squad and Odafe Oweh served as a backup for the Ravens in their comeback win.

Chargers (27) at Eagles (24)
Miles Sanders is still on injured reserve for the Eagles.

Cardinals (31) at 49ers (17)

Michael Menet and Ross Travis are on the Cardinals’ practice squad while Jack Crawford remains on injured reserve. 

Kevin Givens had two tackles and Robbie Gould was perfect kicking including a 26-yard field goal. 

Packers (7) at Chiefs (13)
Adrian Amos had four tackles on defense for the Packers.

Titans (28) at Rams (16)
Sam Ficken is still on injured reserve for the Titans.

Nick Scott had a tackle in the Rams’ loss while Grant Haley was on their practice squad.

Bears (27) at Steelers (29)
Allen Robinson had four catches for 68 yards for Chicago while Jesse James served as a backup.

Marcus Allen served as a backup linebacker while Pat Freiermuth had a monster game with five catches and two touchdowns. 

Bye Weeks
John Reid, Amani Oruwariye, Jason Cabinda, Chris Godwin, Donovan Smith, Troy Apke and Shaka Toney were all on bye weeks.
