Penn State Students’ Super Bowl Plans
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Super Bowl LVI was Sunday with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams playing. After a competitive game between Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and the Rams’ Matthew Stafford. The Rams won 23-20.
Around 100-million people watch the Super Bowl. CommRadio spoke with Penn State students and asked them what they did for the occasion.
Maxwell McAuliffe, a second-year majoring in journalism, shared his Super Bowl plans. “I went over to a friend’s house. I had a fun time, there were a bunch of people and we all watched it on a big projector. We had some good food, good pizza. It was a fun time.”
He also stated his opinion about the game, “I wanted the Rams and I got the victory I wanted. I think Joe Burrow will be back. He’s a great player and he almost pulled it off. At the end of the day, it was the Rams’ defense being way too good,” McAuliffe said.
Penn State students had fun watching the Super Bowl with friends and singing along to the halftime show.
