One Penn State student's group project is now looking to revolutionize how we treat Alzheimer's through music. George Stockburger reports.
Senior / Journalism
George is currently a student at The Pennsylvania State University studying Broadcast Journalism. He was accepted into the Curley Center for Sports Journalism, and is an active member in the College of Communications radio station.
During his time at Penn State, George covered college football, the NFL, college hockey, and college baseball.
In 2016, George provided play-by-play and color analysis for multiple Penn State sports, including football, mens hockey, and womens hockey for ComRadio.
George currently works for Fansided Inc. as an editor/expert for “NFL Mocks” covering the NFL, College Football, and NFL Draft. He holds the same title for Fansided’s Philadelphia Phillies site “That Ball’s Outta Here.” Throughout the 2016 football season, George published two weekly columns for Fansided.com.
Previously, he interned for Scout Media, Inc. during the summer of 2016 in Seattle, Washington, where he wrote columns, produced videos, and covered The Opening Football camp at the Nike World Headquarters.
Junior / Broadcast Journalism, Political Science
Sierra Phillips is a junior at Penn State double-majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science originally from Nashville, Tennessee.
She had an internship at the Brentwood Homepage in Brentwood, Tennessee and an internship with the British Parliament under Carolyn Harris, MP in London, England.
Starting next January she will appear on Centre County Report.
Next August she will be living in Washington D.C. for three months to participate in the Stanley E. Degler Washington Program.
