“As a minority woman, I feel empowered,” said Jinjin Li.
Li, a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology, enjoys her life at Penn State and in the United States.
During almost four years studying at Penn State, Li has read many books and tries to do more to become a social worker.
Li goes ice skating with her friends every weekend and it reminds her of an embarrassing experience from her childhood. Li said her mother made her learn ballet and roller skating even though she did not like it. She still cannot do roller skating well because she quit after one lesson.
