State College joins the Transition Town Initiative

State College joined the Transition Town Initiative in 2010. Hundreds of people have joined the local movement. Notably missing, however, are students.

Caroline Goggin is a senior majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in business. She lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia in West Chester, PA where she has taken part in internships with KYW News Radio, the Preston & Steve Show on WMMR, CBS3 Eyewitness News, and the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. She also interned in Harrisburg with ABC27 News.  Caroline has a passion for broadcasting and hopes to one day land a job either at either a television or radio station. She is interested in breaking into the news or entertainment industries where she would like to pursue a career with a major news network, such as CNN, or the E! network.
