Student commits to 55 Days at Cafe 210

Katie McDonald is taking part in the traditional 55 Days at Cafe 210.

Graduating seniors, such as McDonald, participate by purchasing at least one item for 55 days consecutively during their spring semester at Penn State.

The enet is popular because the seniors commit time to visit the bars, especially with friends. The downside is that someone could end up spending a large amount of money during the event.

McDonald said she wants her name on a 55 Days at Cafe 210 plaque that hangs on the bar's wall, and since she frequents Cafe 210 regularly, she figures that it'd be cool to go after that prestige.
