Shaver's Creek, located in Central Pennsylvania and has been hosting the Maple Harvest Festival since 1984.

Ally Schonfeld was able to experience the outdoors fun and participated in pancake and sausage eating and maple syrup tasting.

Schonfeld was also able to go on a tour of the woods while learning a little more about the history of the festival and the area itself.

The Festival teaches people about life during the colonial times and shows people what it was like to live back then.

The event took place on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Maple Harvest Festival offers everything from live music to birds of prey and reptile shows not to mention all-you-can-eat pancakes!
