Telling stories with rap music

Story posted March 10, 2013 in News by Billy Kornfeld

Joey Caschera began writing lyrics when he was still in high school. When he came to Penn State as a communications major, he began recording his music as well. Now a fifth year senior at Penn State, Caschera, also known as Joey Ca$h, has performed at Penn State venues and released two mixtapes.

He uses the basement of his own as his recording studio and a closet for his microphone location. Caschera says he writes every day trying to appeal to all audiences through the stories he tells through his music.
