Donovan Smith is a senior at Carnegie Mellon University majoring in theatre.
After graduating high school Donovan tried out for opera performing, because he had missed the deadline for R&B. His tardiness turned out to be good fortune. Opera has become Donovan's passion.

I am currently a senior at Penn State majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in International Studies. With the skills I have acquired over my past four years I plan to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. I have a strong passion for entertainment, particularity in music.
I interned in the music industry for a summer with the Island Def Jam Music Group and I loved every single second of it. The atmosphere in entertainment is electric; the fast paced work rhythm, the exciting work environment, the creative co-workers, everything about it is alluring to me.
Graduation is rapidly approaching and I know that the skills I learned at my internships and my Penn State courses have prepared me for whatever is to come my way, and I feel confident entering into the work force.
