Brett Gravatt, a former Penn State soccer player, was paralyzed following a snowboarding accident. But his competitive drive is rekindled in a new sport. Reporter Nicole Barros has the story.

Nicole is a senior majoring in broadcast journalism with a sports concentration through the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism certificate program. Throughout her time at Penn State, she has interned with the Big Ten Network, CBS, and most recently ESPN. Currently, Cikowski is a Videographer, Reporter, Field Producer, and Editor for the Centre County Report.

He is also a Production Assistant for “Unrivaled: The Penn State Football Story” and a videographer/editor for The Penn State Women’s Basketball show, “Courtside with Coquese.” Both shows air throughout Central Pennsylvania on WPSU - Penn State Public Media.

This Spring Scott will be traveling to Greece for one week as student within Penn State’s International Reporting Program.

He is a member of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism within the College of Communications.
