Weather World: the behind the scenes

Weather World, the Department of Meteorology’s TV show at Penn State, is still airing over 30 years after it was first created.

The show’s host and co-producer, Fred Gadomski, has been with the show since it all started in 1983. In addition, he is a professor in the department.

Taping is scheduled every weekday at 4:30 P.M. and then airs on WPSU and PCN.

He shares the process of what the show goes through daily and his experiences.
