Entertainment Rewind is a five-minute recap of the past week of entertainment news by the arts & entertainment department.

Taylor Swift released her ninth studio album “evermore” Friday, Dec. 11, at midnight, nearly five months after the release of her eighth album “folklore.” It’s the second surprise album release Swift has made in 2020 alone.

Paramount Plus, also known as CBS All Access, has announced the revival of iCarly. Original actors and actresses Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor are all reportedly signed on to join the cast.

Sony/Marvel will dive deeper into the Spider-Man multiverse in the upcoming “Spider-Man” movie, which will be the third in its series, coming after 2019’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”

Disney announced Thursday that a hoard of new shows and movies will be released in the future on the franchise’s streaming service Disney+.

Universal Music Publishing Group announced a deal to purchase singer Bob Dylan’s entire songwriting catalogue on Monday.
