Step-Up
Kriston Ramdass, co-director of STEP-UP, is a junior at Penn State majoring in Aerospace Engineering. Step-Up is defined as a collaborative effort between Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and National Society of Black Engineers to create an event that will help ease the transition of Commonwealth students. This weekend event allows students from branch campuses to get to know University Park students and what it’s like to be a student at University Park. The weekend is full of ice breakers, career events, and competitions, which is a great way for everyone involved to connect with peers.
