What They Saw

Video posted May 7, 2020 in Best of CommMedia by Penn State Journalism Students.

Penn State journalism students spent the second half of their semester not in the classroom but locked down in their homes.

From there they recorded what they saw and what they and their families have experienced – the lockdowns, the fear, the boredom, the anxiety, and the joy that a whole world has confronted.

Their photographs and videos capture some of the story of surviving and even thriving while learning to cope with N95 masks, isolation, disinfecting groceries, puzzles, loneliness, too much time with family, and the fear and anxiety of an uncertain future.
